Podd Display was established in 2006 to meet a need in the exhibition & display market for quality display products delivered at competitive rates through exceptional service.
With roots in the South African exhibition and display industry that go back more than thirty years, Podd’s founders sought to instill a culture of continued innovation, strategic sourcing, strong client and supplier relationships as well as uncompromising service in order to deliver a complete experience to marketers. These are company values we work hard to deliver on a daily basis.
We strive to exceed our clients expectations. Our systems are tailored and regularly evaluated to ensure that we deliver beyond standard. We take our clients extremely seriously and strive to impress them regardless the size of the order. Our staff are regularly encouraged to put themselves in their clients shoes to aim to achieve levels of service that they themselves would be impressed by. This is the minimum benchmark we set.
We are blessed with a variety of clients, from walk in’s needing once off solutions to corporates requiring large scale rollouts and repeat orders. We treat every client equally, and take on every job with the same intensity and commitment. It is important to us that our clients are left empowered to tackle their marketing campaign with confidence leaving them to best utilise their strategic marketing skills without having to worry about the execution of the campaign.
The bulk of our digital print output is produced using latex wide format printers. Environmentally, latex inks (water based) are biologically inert and safe for print operators as no toxic fumes are emitted during the printing process. The vast majority of our display hardware is manu- factured from sustainable materials. By utilising the latest print techno- logy without compromising quality and ensuring responsible use of materials we consciously try and reduce our environmental impact.
At least 60% of our raw materials, hardware and products are sourced from local suppliers and manufacturers, to the extent that we are active in utilising companies in our immediate vicinity. Through a shortened supply chain and excellent supplier relationships, we are able to deliver the service, quality and innovation our clients have come to expect of us. We are certified as a level 4 BEE company with 100% procurement and ’empowering supplier’ recognition.
